Your story matters.

Our Stories CWRU is a student-led social justice initiative gathering narratives of lived experience from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to be shared in a live performance for Case Western Reserve University and the surrounding community on April 16 & 17, 2022. We seek to gather and share stories that will help create awareness, build empathy, prompt action, and promote accountability on issues impacting the campus community.

Our Stories CWRU is about reflection, connection, accountability, and action. The project builds off of the overwhelming outpour of true stories submitted to anonymous Instagram accounts in 2020 that highlighted the systemic injustice and disparity on CWRU’s campus. The project seeks to engage the CWRU community in ongoing meaningful dialogue and action on topics such as race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, and other aspects of identity and pivotal life experience. Sharing our stories and hearing those of our community members will help hold each of us and the CWRU administration accountable for the events happening on and around campus & the personal experiences that have defined us.
